Well, while I've been generating some test encodes and monitoring the various forums I subscribe to. I've been watching StarWars1 on ITV1 via SkyDigital.

Jeez, I recon my 800MB CD-R 'backup' looks better, especially during the pod race!

Watched it on NTL and didn't notice it...but wasn't paying everso much attention (coding ReJig at the same time).

Sky Sports football matches...now that's low quality ;)

-Nic While watching the movie (well bits of it) I think it just goes to show what crappy quality we often watch but don't particularly notice. Unless that is your up close to the TV!

It makes a good case for not sitting too close to our monitors when playing back encodes though.
