I've got three MPGs and one slideshow I'd like to place onto a DVD. When you load the DVD, I'd like the user to see the four options in a menu - with the ability to click on any of the four to start it running. When it is over, the user should be presented with the menu again.

I set-up the menu so that each each element is a Chapter and that there's sort of a null main menu (is that a correct assumption?) Unfortunately, when the DVD is loaded, it automatically starts playing the first chapter.

There is an option which says to go to the main menu as the first action. However, I'm not sure how to place all four chapters into a main menu. Any suggestions?

There is more than one way to solve your problem, try this:

1. In Source Setup, create four separate tracks, each with one of your video clips. Use Add Track link in the left-hand column to add new tracks.
2. Go to Create Menu and select a theme, for example Cool 1.
3. Click on Display Menu Settings button, choose tab General, select Only Main Menu option and Display Main Menu in both drop-down boxes.
4. If you wish, click on the text elements of menu layout to change the corresponding text. Then go to Output and create your DVD.

You should end up with a menu containing four buttons for your clips plus Play All.
