Xvid guru settings

Hi all XviD users!

It would be very interesting if some of u old XviD gurus would post what type of XviD settings and avisynth scripts u are using, and in what purpose.

This would be a big help for us new Xvid users. U don't have to explain youre settings, only post them.

If you check out some threads concerning this toppic (and there´s been quite a lot), you should have encountered some avisynth script ideas.
Using the search button is the way to go.

Xvid settings that are always "good to use" are to be found in the "Sticky:"Newbie" Settings".

Yes I see you posted HQ - 2CDR... but I wanted to make sure you see that there is no point in posting settings as long as you dont know what these settings are good for ;)

My to cents: Don't trust any advice, not even mine. :D

I've just tested some high-bitrate TMPEG-templates by some reknown experts and could improve the results of my encoding easily by correcting some settings in there that contradicted anything I know about compression.

We may not know half as much as we think we do.

The 'trusted truth' of XviD is the defaults. Test various settings for yourself but don't go on bragging once you've found one that works well for you. Use the discussion threads on new builds for hints.
