In DIF4U(v1.4.0.0) I'd like to know if there's any possible way to flag each PGC as Main or Extras
You see I encountered a movie which has only one VTS containing everything, the main movie and the extras. 9 PGC's in total
Now when I flag all as MAIN I get a low bitrate on the main movie of course. I'd like to flag 1 PGC as main and the others as Extras.
Maybe this is something still in progress or unable to do.

I'm afraid you should do some manual calculation here. S odemux with dif4u and then manually calculate (or use the bitrate calculator of dif4u) to calculate the correct bitrate. Change the ccedata.txt with your new bitrates and you're set.

By any chance, do you know where I can find some info on DVDCalc ?

If you've demux by PGC , when you come top the reauthorist stage you can change the bitrates there. Just drop the extras bitrates down to what you want then hit auto-size then it should auto size by upping the movies bitrate , if not drop the extras bitrate then up the movies manually in RA

that's also a good suggestion. Didn't think of that because I never use RA as input for encoding

I've actually been thinking of going a different route and adding a main movie duration threshold, to where if you flag a VTS as main, but a pgc in it is under a certain duration, it will calculate it using the extras bitrate. If I do implement it, it'll be around the second 1.4.x beta, because the first one is almost complete!
