I didnt know really where to post this so i toke this topic.

Im working in Sonicfoundrey Vegas Pro with cutting musicvideoremixes and shall burn them on DVD.

A also saved them as SVCD pal for some friends that didnt have dvd player that supported DVD-R

thing is, they told me the video looks strange and i must do some sort of deinterlace with tmpegEnc + filters etc? what do they mean?

They watched the videos on the PC and the image was tv lined sometimes, well I dont really know what they mean.

Cant i edit my stuff and save to mpeg2? msut I do alot of afterwork?

What software did they watch them with on the computer? It probably doesn't have a proper on the fly deinterlacer.

If you want to deinterlace, it depends on the source, but I'd probably use avisynth to do it. Read some of the guides on doom9.
