Hey there,
I've recently bought some anime titles distributed through "Manga Video". Both of them are poor transfers - I'm having difficult deinterlacing them when I convert to DivX. I used telecide with the following parameters -
Telecide(order=1,post=4,vthresh=45)
I used these settings after following Donald's guide for the filter. I left out "guide=2" because the pattern guide kept reporting mismatches when using "show=true". Vthresh setting seemed optimal for the source and post=4 produced smoother motion in some scenes.
However, the results are still fairly poor. There are a lot of blended frames (some are in the source) and the motion is still jerky when panning from side to side. Can you recommend any other settings or filters that may do the job better?
Cheers
