I found that when I tried to burn with Imgtools (non-classic), I would get reallocation errors. I wonder which of my file(s) are giving me problems?

What I do is in DVD Shrink, I open each file and process them separately through DVD Shrink initial analysis. You'll know which ones are going to be problem titlesets. I found this out on a certain titleset that DVD Shrink didn't want to accept. So what I did was do a mock strip of streams using IfoEdit. That means perform strip procedure but keep everything in streamlist checked. Use the VOB Extras button. When done, drag/cut new files to replace original files. Get VTS Sectors to correct IFOs. Reprocess this titleset in question through DVD Shrink to see if errors still exist.

I'd say most of the time, you'll have success. Remember to process every Titleset. ;)

http://www.mmbforums.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3307 I haven't tried it yet but I like this feature, especially the displaying of SPRMs. ;)

* All SPRMs, GPRMs and Prohibited User-Ops can be displayed in a secondary window.

DVDShrink is great as a DVD structure check and I always recommend it to people who have issues. It doesn't pick all errors up but it's one of the best as it picks errors up that others don't :D. It would be great if it told you where the error was , just as 2COOL requested ;)

I have started using the "Big3" method for backing up DVD recently and found that it works great in stand-alone as well as software PC DVD players. However, trying to open the newly authored DVD in DVD shrink will give an error (cant remember exactly what the error was) and Shrink aborts the process (despite the DVD-R still playable in SA). Overall, what you say is quite true - I use Shrink to recheck my authored DVDs as it picks up stuffs that others wont and may prevent a lot of compliance issues with SA later on.

Any thoughts on the Shrink and Big3 issue ?
