I have enough room to bump my ac3 up to 320 data rate.
My settings for everything are
Video
9472 Max
4190 Average
Audio data rate= 320
2 hours 10 minites of video
My question is... I am getting my DVD glass mastered. Will I have any problems with the final disk using these settings? I want to be sure before I send my master and get 1000 pressed.

Welcome, Jazzed.
Two questions :
Why do you absolutely want to use all available space?
Can't you have a "test" burn (DVD-RW...) before mastering?
Oh! By the way, I don't think there can be a problem. But I would nevertheless test it.
Let me know.

Welcome to the forums, Jazzed:
I'll move this thread to DVD burning, you will probably get more assistance there. Following rule 9 to the letter will also probably get you more help.

Hi
I dont have to use all the space, but this movie is "about" audio production. So I just want to maximize the audio. To do this, I lowered the video rate.
Yes, they will give me a test burn, I was just paranoid after someone said getting too close the the overall Max DVD rate I could run into trouble.

So, are you out of trouble? Hope so :D !
Let me know about the "test" ; it can be interesting.
