Dvd2svcd To update or not?

I am currently using Dvd2svcd v109 Build 2 & TMPGEnc-2.55.38.142-Plus-EN with Windows 98 se and am wondering if I update to Dvd2svcd v1.2.1 build 3 do I also have to update my TMPGEnc to the newest update as well or will everything work ok?

What if I were to update my O/S to Windows XP?

No you don't have to upgrade TMPGEnc if you upgrade to 1.2.1 build 3 everything should be quite happy.

Also if you upgrade to XP I would personally re install all the Software you use for the Encoding process as XP can be quite fussy with already installed software if it ain't Microsoft!
