Is this program good?

I sent it in a compliant MPEG2 stream except that the audio is mpeg2 compliant audio instead of AC3, and when it's creating the menus and transcoding the menus, it also is transcoding the video also...but..I just want it to burn unchanged..

I got the source off of my replaytv...so if anyone has experience using nerovision express2 w/ replaytv mpgs that would be much appreciated

Hi,

I havenīt found a 100% safe way to prevent NVE2 from re-encoding the mpegs if they are already compliant.

My personal experience is that if you input mpeg to NVE2 it does not re-encode them (at least not fully) because it only takes a fraction of the time compared to inputting other material (e.g. an .avi file).

Iīm not sure if NVE2 eventually trans-codes the mpeg though ....

Sorry I canīt give you a definite answer, I mailed Ahead requesting a "do not encode" option ....

Cheers - Morlock

Too bad that NVE2 kinda sucks for doing DVDs. I've tried doing a few, and you end up with movies being out of sync, and if you try adding titles etc. it can create some horrible artifacts as well.
