Is that possible to use Matroska as container for NeroDigital ?
PS. I think we need Nero Splitter DS filter ?

1) nero digital is simply a mpeg-4 codec like xvid, divx5 aso not less not more!
so yes its perfectly possible to mux nero digital (aka mpeg-4) into matroska
2) it should be possible use the 3ivx splitter and gabests matroska muxer to mux into matroska (but also to avi if you want)

But there is good news from Mosu on this. With the experience he gathered from working with sysKin's reader code ( taken from XviD ) he by chance had a look at libavcodec from ffmpeg, and found the necessary functions to exist there, and even very well documented.
He announced on the IRC channel yesterday night that he has it almost working, and with proper frame type detection, so that hopefully very soon we will be able to write native MPEg4 MKV files from all different types of sources, be it AVI, OGM or MP4 files ... Mosu rulezzzz :D !
