I just got into using the big 3 when I encountered this problem.

After I went through all steps up to Reauthorist with the Big 3 guide, DoCCE4U starts up CCE. CCE then creates the .vaf file and keeps sitting on the first pass on 0% (with 50% CPU usage).

Im using CCE 2.66, P4 2.6 HT, Asus Boad (Intel Chipset), 512 RAM, Serial ATA drives but not in raid mode.

Now I wanted to try out CCE 2.67. but DoCCE4U wont accept it. "CCE Exceutable associated with ECLCCE is not supported by DoCCE4U". I already tried using the latest ECLCCE with it, but no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick reply mate, appreciate it.

Anyone else maybe got a hint for the CCE problem?
I saw in another thread that the APCI mode may have something to do with it if you use Serial ATA drives.

Now, would you look at that.

Ive got 2 hard disks, one with the OS and tools and the other for storing.
I ran DC4U to encode on the other hard drive and it didnt work. Now I changed the working dir to the main drive (where DC4U is located) and it works.

Thats weird for ya...

very weird
i have a similar setup (2 hard drives) and i have been using the 2nd drive (storage) successfully for all my encodes etc lately. but as i am definitely NOT a computer guru, by any stretch of the imagination, i wont attempt to offer any explanation as to why it works in my setup and not for you ...

Yeah, afaik its got something to do with a Serial ATA setup and/or the APCI mode, to be disabled in the BIOS. But since you have to re install your system afterwards, I havent tried it out.
