Hi Everyone,

I was curious to know can I add the 3rd audio stream in a SVCD created by D2S? If yes, how to do it.

I know I have to do it manually since D2S doesn't allow more than 2 audio streams but I couldn't find any information and tools that will help me do it.

I did a serach here and all the threads were in Audio Encoding section talking about doing it with DivX and using OGG stuff etc. I am interested in MPEG2.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

unless you have some incredible svcd player, it won't play since it's outside the specs. At any rate, I think you could try with any muxing tool, say TMPGEnc's mpeg tools. Load up the mpg that has 2 audio files already and mux in another audio, or use the non-simple muxer and try adding 3 audios, then test it on your player.

@pacohaas
I didn't know about it. The reason I though about having the 3rd audio stream is because I have APEX 1500 and when playing a SVCD, if I press the Audio button on the remote, I can cycle through Audio 1 through Audio 4. I though as per spec, I can have upto four Audio streams.

Would you be kind enough to post a link to SVCD spec here. I will also try to do a search on google.

I will also try your method to test on my player and see how it goes.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks guys for all your help. Since I don't want to go out of SVCD spec, I will stick with 2 Audio streams only.
