Hi people,

i have a problem with this movie and i don't know how manage it. 5 pgc's

pcg 1 use's vobid 1,2
pcg 2 use's vobid 3,1,4
pcg 3 use's vobid 5
pcg 4 use's vobid 6
pcg 5 use's vobid 7,8

so i can't manage this. The best way to show the pcg's is to copy the info in infoedit but how i do this ?

you can try using IFOToTxt, a handy tool written by JFerguson (aka Blackhole Forever), it utilises IFOEdits CopytoClipboard function, and saves you a LOT of messing around.
might solve your problems.
its avaliable from mrbass' site and is discussed here

As you can see, in PGC2 there's a chapter played from PGC1, that's why it also has vobid 1.

I didn't figure out how to reauthor it properly, 'cause I'm not very used to dealing with scenarist manually.

I'm working on it....

The reused vobid in PGC2 is a layerbreak - 15frame -

Go ahead and reauthor by PGC and you'll be fine,

If your not real familier with the "auto check duplicate pgc's" option in DoItFast4u or aren't very familier with scenarist make sure to select all PGC's when you demux

or read Eyes 'only's excellent guide on this.

Common people start learning Scenarist, it's really necessary. Can't rely on all those automated tools.

I guess I had just some drinks too much, but hey it's Christmas :D

Cheers.

True but reading the guide in this case is a little overkill... it's just a 15frame dummy :D

go drink more

nope, I don't think it's that simple:

[Ch 02] [Pg 02] [Cell 02] [V/C Id: 1/ 6] Layer Br.: time: 00:00:33.21 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:34.09] [Frames: 859] in PGC2 is the sixth chapter from PGC1, that's why PGC2 shares vobid 1 with PGC1 (at least that's the way I understand it :) )

What I finally did was using Eyes`Only's "Nemo Method": bring all necessary cells into one program in scenarist and then using acm in ifoupdate, that worked fine.

The problem was when placing this chapter from PGC1 at the right place in PGC2, scenarist was mourning about subtitles not being identical between PGC1 and 2, cause PGC2 had no subtitles. Maybe I could have used dummy-subs to make scenarist shut the hell up, but I wanted to try the acm-method in this case, 'cause I was curious whether it works :)

I was able to backup all three indiana Jones movies using the tecnique described in this thread:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=64927&highlight=indiana

I also used R4 DVDs (I live in Brazil)

Good Luck!
