Hi ,

Great program !!
I've tried a few other progtams like easydivx,flaskmmpeg,dvdx, ....
and this program autogk is the easiest and best program I've seen with a excellent movie quality.
I followed the most versions and when I tought of an improvement the next version had it .
Just like the external subtitles , But why do you use idx and not SRT subtitles ??

Have also another option (and Wish)

Isn't it possible to have an option where you can select the sreen format like 16:9 , 4:3 or 2.35:1 because you can't change the width

Thanks , looooooooooooove the program

Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetings from Belgium , keep doing the great job

OCR of subs is impossible in automatic mode I would guess.

not really, you always get the input format the same as output (with cropping of course).

It would be very interesting ripping subs to .srt. Yes, I don't think that can be done automatically, but hey, no one wants to store some mb's of subs in a cd when you can do it with only a few kb's using text subs. Even because (correct me if I'm mistaken) the closest to a standard for subtitles on standalones aren't vobsub subs, but text subs, as .srt.
Even if you decide to not implement such a thing, that's not a big problem, I can always rip the subs using SubRip while AutoGK processes the vobs, in fact that's what I do already.
Keep on the great work :D

About Vobsub, it's a pity that Gabest never tried this approach:

Although the average I've got is 5 MB per CD in Vobsub format, not really an overkill IMHO.

You're right. Quite a few standalones support SRT subs (mine for instance). And if one could do that automatically I'd dump vobsub away immediately :) (no more size/archiver problems)
