I have an avi file that i have run through VirtualDub to separate the avi video from the audio. The audio was saved as a wav file. When i tried to feed the video file into TMPGenC i got a message that the file had an invalid format. I tested the file with Windows media player and am able to view the file. Is there any way to process this file with TMPGenC.
Thanks,

I had the same problem and solved it like this:
- Install the correct codec used for the .avi (guess you already have this).
- Go into the option->environmental setting in TMPGEnc, and click on the tab VFAPI plug-in. You will see two AVI entries. I put the AVI2(OpenDML) File Reader at a priority of 1 and the AVI VFW compatibility Reader at 0. That worked for me.

Just changed the first one to 1 leaving the second alone. No luck.
Any other ideas?
