Hello friends,
the following problem is bothering me:
When I try to decrypt the First DVD to harddisk in order to prepare a backup, it always fails when copying one of the VOB Files with a "random positioning error". Well, because I'm not a rookie I tried the following things:
1) I tried it on another DVD-ROM: Same Effect, won't copy.
2) I tried the First disk of another diskset from my friend: Same effect, won't copy (Therefore it must be a copy protection IMHO)
3) I tried to set DVD-Decrypter to fast error skipping mode and it worked, but after that I wasn't able to work with the copied files because all of my backup-programs (Pinnecale Instant Copy, DVDShrink, DD2One, CloneDVD) told me that the files are illegal.
But strange is that the Original-DVD plays on every DVD-Player. I tried it in 4 different players and it worked fine.
So, my question to you experts is: How can I make a backup of such a protected disk?
