Once i have all my assests in scenarist, how do i set more than on vobid to a title??
I.E. I have one large video, and i create a second and third title use video from title one, all in the same vts set.So the large title would have 3 vobids.

each track in scenarist will be a different vobid. if you use the same track for all 3 titles, you'll be using the same vobid.

I get what your saying , but how is multi vobids done on the original dvds, i mean scenarist is a professional program.

probably the same way (commercial DVDs are authored with the likes of Scenarist). If you have assets you want to use multiple times, it makes no sense to add them multiple times, instead you create a track for it and then put them together the way you need them. As for VOB IDs for multiangles, I suppose that's just how things are done, and the same goes for seamless branching.

It implies that you have multiple tracks. So if you have one pgc with 31 vobids that would mean the author combined 31 different tracks. But If you rip it by pgc you'll only have one track ofcourse.
So if you would like to reauthor it exactly as the original you would need to demux by vobid even though there's only one pgc.

But then it all comes back to the fact that it doesn't matter. Your dvd player will behave exactly the same way if you have one big video with one vobid or the same video made up of multiple vobids.
Also the numbering is not important, but if I remember correctly we had this discussion before ;)
