A short slide show can be added to a ‘shrunken’DVD’ - as an Intro; Ending; or as a statement or personal signature. I used it at end of LOTR series giving continuation info. (normal end credits were cut).
1) Compile slide or slides in graphic utility (PSP or Photoshop). For Fellowship of the Ring two slides were used.
2) Record audio dialog & save as .wav; Or use appropriate short music clip.
3) OpenMYDVD, select:- New DVD Project -Add Slideshow -Get Pictures etc:
then check Settings - ‘slide duration’ (4 secs each in my case) & ‘audio
selection’ (as reqd): ensure ‘Transition’ is unchecked.
Click Ok for slide selection.
4) Click ‘Edit Style’; choose menu button style, with music if reqd; (menu removed later). Ensure ‘Play All’ is unchecked. Click Ok. Save Project.
5) Select Tools – ‘Make DVD Folder’. This will make IFOs; BUPs & VOBs in the
chosen Folder.

6) Now use DVDShrink: Click on the VIDEO_TS.IFO, Shrink should open. The Menu(which we want to remove) in my case was 12Mb, Main Movie was 1Mb.
7) Using Re-author function select Main Movie (Title 1), Backup to new Folder.
8) Open IfoEdit, check new Folder Ifo’s; VIDEO_TS.IFO & VTS_01_0.IFO – ensure ‘Audio 1’ language selection is ‘English’ (or chosen).
Also ‘Get VTS Sectors’.
9) Open DVDShrink; open your existing (shrunken) Main Movie: Select re-author and move all Titles from this movie to new window.
10) In Shrink, select ‘Open Files’, navigate to Ifo’s in new folder then add this Title at position required – start or end of Main Movie. (in re-author window).
11) Backup as normal.

Note. When pre-burn playing final version - If a ‘gap’ is noted at junction of slide
show and adjacent VOB – this will become the dreaded ‘2 seconds pause’ on
a standalone. To eliminate this follow procedure for ‘Author –Join VOB’s’
