encode to mpeg?

HI guys,

Trying to convert a Divx file to allow it to fit on dvd, or at least cut and edit via Tmpgenc to fit on to two discs, but Tmpgenc will not convert passed 4.6??
Any ideas how to convert to mpeg or increase settings in Tmpenc to allow full conversion.??

Hello, mammeryman, and welcome to Doom9's forum. I've moved your thread from DivX Encoding to to TMPG Encoding, since that is what you are doing.

Tmpgenc should have no problem encoding your file. If encode fails after a certain point load you avi into virtual dub and check for a currupt spot. That would be my guess.
