I an running 512mb,windows XP with a BusLink/Lite On DVD burner. I recently reformated my hard drive and had CompUSA install a 2nd HD and the burner. I also have a Sony 500 burner but But it is almost completely inop. Prior to the reformat, DVD Decrypter would copy DVD movies to my hard drive where they could be viewed or copied back to a dvd. The new burner will copy DVD to the new hard drive but PowerDVD will not play them. If I try to copy the movie back to a dvd, DVD Decrypter tell me the blank DVD-R only has 737mb of space. When I tell it to record anyway, The buffer goes to 100% but the Device buffer stays a zero. The computer locks up and I have to manually reset the computer to get it back.
