Hi everybody,

I'm experiencing some problems when muxing avi's with VDubMod through GKnot. (I can reproduce the problem without GKnot intervention, just with a VDubMod script).

I encode 2 mp3 streams and when muxing these with the avi coming from the video encoding I get a livelock error and the encoding rate drops to 0. This error appears randomly, some times at the beginning of the mux sometimes near the end. If I use the mpa streams coming from the DVD2AVI rip I experience no problem at all

I'm using VDubMod 1.5.10.1 and DivX 5.1.1 Pro. I've already checked that I'm not using the Creative mp3 Codec which is notorious for producing a similar problem. As far as I can tell, I'm using the Fraunhofer codec, but I'm not 100% sure on this.

Any help would be appreciated

One comment to my previous post: l have just discovered that the above referred problem only happens when the audio is encoded as VBR. If I encode as CBR the problem dissapears. Again, any hint?
