Bad *.MPG

Hey All,
I'm trying to encode a VCD using an *.mpg file with the correct attributes, but the encoder complains that the file has a "bad packet" and wants to discard the remainder of the video file. Is there a program out there that scans and repairs *.MPG files? Thanks,

Hi Keith,

I assume you want to author (using vcdeasy?), not encode a VCD, correct? If so, apart from reencoding, try vcdcut to demux your defective mpg file. Try to remux & it should be fine.
Also, did you try sth. like Nero?
