I got a 2.8ghz one at work. Took it home thought it would be a great help encoding for a codec comparison, and now I'm doing divx5 at 10- fps. wcpuid shows that my system is running at full speed, cpu is maxed out at 10 fps but honestly, I was doing divx5 with the same settings (and a slower divx5 codec) at more than 40fps for the latest codec comparison and on an athlon xp 2800. So something is very wrong. Now I seem unable to find the handbrake and release it and I'm wondering if anybody has the same crapbook and actually got it to work so that it does its CPU justice.
