Adding own subtitles, what program?

I have image of dvd on hdd and I want to add custom subtitles before burning movie. I know I can re-author that movie by opening it in with daemon tools. Movie is already compressed to fit DVD5 and all I want to do is replace one subtitles with my own subtitles. I have made subtitles from SRT to SUP with srt2sup program so its ready to put on dvd.

My question is: What is the simpliest program which allows me to replace subtitles? I do not need to rebuild menus or do anything with the movie stucture.

I have read all the guides but programs like dvdmaestro are too complex to this operation. Programs like dvdshrink would be better but I cant replace subtitles with that...

Unfortunately, I fear there is no "one-click" solution, but a "two-clicks". Here's what I'd do :

demux all (VOBedit)
change anything you have to change
remux all (IFOEdit)

Yep, I've already done that with 1 success and 1 unsuccesss.

I can't make a proper dvd with ifoedit on movies which contain more that one PGC. For example: Movie "animatrix" vobedit cannot demux properly all and ONLY 9 movies but it demuxes all including warning messages etc which are not displayed on movie -> movie and subs and audio are desynced... :(

Any solution for this?

Erm, I will move very carefully with this one. There are solutions, but far from the "one-click" you aimed... What I do in these cases is to re-rip each PGC in different folders and process each like a single movie ; then re-compile all this stuff ("reauthor", in fact) with DVDShrink. Not very hard, but pretty far from straightforward.

well, yes, you're right. I often make english-french-sabir-ignorence-technical-english mistakes. Fortunately enough, you're here to correct me :D .
