hi guys,

not too sure if many ppl have experienced this problem in the past, well here is the problem.

i do a strip stream / compression backup. the ifo is not corrected. i.e. 4 audio streams in the title, streams 2-4 are not included in the backup same goes with subs. Although, once the backup job is complete, the corrected ifo still contains information on these streams even though they do not exist.

is this a fault with dvd shrink or is it just a problem i am experiencing?

this is the best way to do it as it keeps the streams in the correct paths so when you select it from the menu it will play the selected stream

hi MackemX and thanks for your reply.

Sorry that I have forgotten to add that this is a movie only backup with no menus.

So having entries (ifo) for streams that do not exist in a titleset is pointless am I correct?

So having selections via the ifo of streams that are non-existent will just confuse my wifey. :)

I thought that as soon as I posted but have only just come back to edit the post and you beat me to it

check out 2COOL's thread in the IFO/VOB forum as it will tell you how to change it so you have streams 1 & 2 playing as you wish :)
