OK, dvd2one USED to work perfectly EVERY TIME. Everytime i run it now tho, i get a blue screen almost immediately when it tries to compress the movie. Usually is a IRQL blue screen, but sometimes its a page fault error.

Ive also noticed that when i tried to add a large file to a winzip archive, the same thing happened. No hardware has changed in my system from when it worked and when it didnt, so what could it be?

I dont know if this is related or not, but whenever i rip a dvd usuing dvd decryptor or whatever, all of the files come out completely fragmented, every time. Could i be crashing because dvd2one is creating fragmented files too? What can i do?

Thanks in advance

As mrbass as hinted, it is possible a hardware problem. From my experience, cheap memory tends to cause these kind of problem.

edit: memtest came up with no errors and neither did my hard drive diagnostic tool.

could my installation of windows xp be corrupt? i get blue screens randomly here and there, i think when it accesses big files, such as my outlook.pst. maybe my pagefile keeps getting corrupted? i dont know what to do because even without using dvd2one, my system is incredibly unstable.

Maybe your needing to buy a copy of the software. If you don't you will have 6 Kb of files instead of 8.
