View Full Version : A silly NuMenu4U/DoItFast4U question

I just can't seem to get this to work right. I want to have NuMenu4U start from DoItFast4U. I have the checkmark next to Re-encode menus using NuMenu4U before demuxing check and I thought I had all the correct settings in NuMenu4U set up, but when I start it, I get an error that Windows cannot find the NuMenu4U.exe. I've hunted all over for a place to tell DoItFast4U the file location, but I haven't found a place. Both programs are installed to their default locations, but I must be missing something completely obvious. I've copied all the files into the DoItFast4U directory and that didn't work. From what I've read, I could start NuMenu4U first, but thought I could have DoItFast4U start the whole process and then it would call upon NuMenu4U.

Confused!

You need to use a CLI-compatible version of NuMenu4U. When you install it, it will create the correct registry entry to enable DoItFast4U! to find it.

The registry key is HKCU\SOFTWARE\NuMenu4U\InstallDirectory

Unless Zeul fixed it the last few builds didn't create that key in which case you need to manually create it

Well that bites! I guess you'll have to create the key on your own.

Thanks. Adding the new key did the trick.
