I have a rush job and I don't know how I can get some files converted to play on a DVD player. I don't have access to a DVD burner so its VCD format. Does any one know how to convert files in WMV format to something I can convert to VCD. I prefer Tmpegemc to convert but I'm not fussy.

Any Help would be good.

It should not be too difficult now that avisynth 2.54 alpha supports directshow. You may need the latest version of avisynth Here. (http://cultact-server.novi.dk/kpo/avisynth/avs_cvs.html) You would then use a script line DirectShowSOurce("yourwmv.wmv",29.97). Load the script into TMPG and it should work. If not, convert the script with VFAPI and feed the resulting pseudo AVI to the encoder you wish to use.

If you got a CD Burner, you can simply use Nero Burning ROM 6+ or Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 to import WMV files and create a VCD. Check your CD Burning software. =)
