I'm looking for a noise removal plugin that will work similarly to: GoldDust(limit=3) This gives excellent results, but is far too slow for me to use. (It wanted 89hrs to encode a 3hr clip). I've tried many of the suggested plugins, but they dont even seem to approach the quality provided by dust. (I'm recording from old VHS tapes so preserving finer details isn't as important as it normally would be)
Edit: I realise that I may be asking the impossible, but hopefully i'm not.

Is there a version of the Dust plugin for Avisynth 2.5??

@ joe355:
Unfortunately i'm not aware of any that would perform nearly as well as GoldDust,
when comparing noise reduction vs. detail preserving.
But if anyone does - i'm interested ;)
Only suggestion would be to use maybe Deen with high temporal
setting + some other filter to remove remaining noise,
but that might be just as slow.
@ Daiamondo:
Not that i know of, but you can (auto)load it using an .avsi file containing following lines:
x:\insert\path\here\LoadPluginEx.dll
x:\insert\path\here\Dust.dll
(put the .avsi file amongst your other plugins in Avisynth 2.5 directory)
