View Full Version : DIF4U detects my audio tracks but RA doesn't

Following the advice I got from HyperYagami in this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66234 I stripped Two Towers EE keeping only main movie and 3 audio tracks. I backed it up uncompressed so that I then could "big3" that package.
The problem now seems to be ReAuthorist. DIF4U identifies the main audio track and the two commentary tracks but after demuxing and entering RA the latter doesn't spot the three audio tracks, it just detects one. And the final result was no sound at all.
Ideas?

Simple solution: add them manually after importing your script into Scenarist.

Not sure what you mean by "STripping" but you should backup the FULL dvd using dvddecrypt to an iso then use that to rip w/ DoItFast4u -
You'll be hard to find someone in this forum that recommends deleting content...

Eyes,
I should really get busy learning scenarist as you adviced me earlier... I have to defend myself though by saying that I've hadn't had the time yet! :)
I did however manage to solve this one before I saw your reply. It's probably very obvious for you pro's, but for other newbies sake what I did was that I had another go with shrink, this time leaving all sound tracks untouched. Consequently RA behaved much nicer to me, so hopefully (CCE:ing it right now) it will come out ok.
D3s7,
Perhaps I did not use that term correctly, but what I ment by stripping was eliminating the menus completely.
There's a reason why I didn't use DVDdecrypter and it is explained here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66234
