Subs in Procoder

Is there a way to add subs to your Canopus Procoder encodes??

In short: Use avisynth to import textsub plugin (part of vobsub package) for permanent subs. Install ffvfw and use the tool makeavis therein to wrap the avisynth script to virtual avi-file. Then drag to procoder.
