ASPI error

tried to burn a DVD with CopytoDVD and the message I got was:
"cant connect to hardware access layer (Patin or ASPI)"

What can this be and how do I correct for the ASPI driver error please? BTW Neso info says the ASPI drivers are dated May 2003.

reinstall copytodvd.

It should install its own drivers. Make sure you have the most recent release too.
