hey there all .....

Whats up ?

Could you help me please with this problem ?

I recently purchased Bruce All Mighty R1. Lovely movie! But my parents cannot read english so i had to add subtitles in my language (greek) I followed the useful guides here and i made it ! Everything is working perfect in my PC.

But when i try to play it with my standalone player, in main movie the counter stops on the player's display at 8 sec , and after a short time (about 5 sec.) the picture freeze.

If i skip to the next chapter the counter on the display jumps to the time of the chapter, but not count, and same thing, the picture freeze after 5 sec.

Do you have any ideas of solving this ?

I used DVDDecrypter to full rip the DVD in my HDD, Vobedit to Demux, SRT2SUP for the subs, IFOEdit 95 for authoring and Nero for burning.

I will really appreciate any opinions, solutions or suggestions.

Thanking you all in advance!

Maybe someone else know it better, but...
If you demux the subtitles using vobedit there is no need to use SRT2SUP. vobedit will store the subtitles in sup format. Simple use these sup files in Ifoedit.

nope.

Haven't tried that.

Coujo,

I ripped the dvd without subs.i removed all of them.

I dont want them cause they are english. I just wanna add some new subtitles.

Problem is with playback mostly.

If i leave the movie play without change chapter, forward etc. it plays ok without any freezing but again the display on the standalone stays at 7 seconds or at the time i change the chapter.

Could be a media compatibility problem.

tried with several brands, like TDS, Verbatib, Ritek, -R,+R, -RW

Same result always.

Think is something with the authoring?

Any ideas ?
