With the new xvid 1 beta 2, when setting it in gordian knot 0.28.6.2 , I thought I could just use the same advanced settings as I had with the previous xvid, and the only change would be to specify which passes would be the 1st and the 2nd. But by following the usual stpes of doom9 xvid guide with gk, I noticed that the compressibility check with xvid 1 beta 2 doesnt change at all bits/pixel infos, leaving me without any clue about if my resolution setting is good or not...
So I'm wondering why this happens, and when doom9 could make a new guide for xvid 1+gk, which would be very welcomed given the changes made to the codec configuration. And though I know doom9 may prefer to wait for the final xvid 1 to release a new definite guide, just like he did with divx 5.1.1; but I think a guide for xvid 1 beta with gk would be useful, for the time we'll have to wait the final 1.0 (btw how for long?).
