I hope that this is the correct forum for this, if not please direct me to where I need to post.
I'm having a hellacious time decoding an LPCM stream from a PAL VOB that I downloaded. It's a music video, about 4 minutes long. There are at least a couple dozen streams, and when I attempt to demux any one (or all) of the supposed audio streams that vStrip picks up, I get either no file at all, or a ~1.5MB file that is useless. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or where I can find a good vStrip tutorial?
I did find it amusing that DVD2AVI would detect the LPCM stream, even though it wouldn't demux it from the VOB like it will an AC3 stream.
If anyone needs screenshots or extra info, just let me know.
EDIT:
Ok, beyond just feeling stupid for overlooking an obvious feature of DVD2AVI, this should have been posted in the DVD2AVI forum. I figured out my problem.
All I had to do was select the "Decode to WAV" feature under "Output Method," and the .wav file was decoded just fine. Sorry to post needlessly, maybe this will help others though.
