Hi All! Great news that newest version of virtualdubmod is out!! Good work! I have been playing with it already using some files that used to give me the "no duration found for a subtitle" error. I was just wondering if anyone could explain to me what exactly does that mean? What exactly is the subtitle missing? And, is there any way to change the subtitles using some subtitle editor such that this warning will go away? I am asking because even though the program doesn't come to a halt with this error, I cannot view the videos properly after I have edited them - the audio is messed up and the player will crash. I know it has to be the subtitles because it doesn't happen to any other video I have edited which does not have the "no duration found for a subtitle" error. I am still experimenting...My video files were in mkv format, with xvid, ogg and srt for video, audio, subtitle files.
Also, I was wondering if anyone had issues when it comes to demuxing the subtitles from the video? Although I can read the srt files just fine in the notepad, I am unable to view it in subresynch (so I can resave as ssa). Is anyone having this problem?

Thanks!

Torellyx

I suspect there is some illegal characters present in between time stamps. Check.
