Has anyome encountered an error during DVD burning saying:

'Error -10 at sector 230Eh0EE - Disc Wriet Error Command 2A Sense:03ASC:0C ASCQ:Q8

This message appears more than half way thu the process, and then the CD is ejected.
My burner is Sony external DVD-RW and havn't had this problem untill sme weeks ago.
I think I installed some new software which messed up the drivers.

Any ideas?

I have run accross this same error with primo dvd.
In my case its one of two things.
The burning speed is to fast for the media.(or bad media)
or

My burning program got changed by a windows update or another program.
The fix for that was just to uninstall the burning program and reinstall.(this is on winxppro).

I have come upon the same problem with winme and 98, and the only way I was able to fix it was by a complete reinstall of everything including the OS.

the error comes from the burning program recording to many errors during the burning process.or the files you are burning are not dvd compliant(small case letters can do it to some programs, a hidden windows file placed in the directory when it was created can also do it).
all in all its just errors.
The number of possiable causes can get quit large depending on your system. But its not the drives just software or media.
