I have successfully converted many avi films to dvd using "The Film Machine" incorporating CCE.
However, 2 avi's give trouble.
about halfway through the conversion process the following error appears:
CCE ENCODING FAILED
***COULD NOT WRITE TO THE FILE <D:\……….ENCODED_VIDEO_CCE_NTSC.MPV***
THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE ON THE DISK
[WINDOWS ERROR CODE 0x 70112]
I then click OK and the following error appears:
FEXP_CLOSE() FAILED;
***COULD NOT SET THE FILE SIZE <D:\........ENCODED_VIDEO_CCE_NTSC.MPV***
THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE ON THE DISK
[WINDOWS ERROR CODE: 0x 70112]
There is over 40Gb free disk space.
I tried running it through avi-repair, but the problem still occurs.
The avi's play fine in media player.
Please help.
