Learned Colleagues:
My niece loves this movie and she's in danger of trashing the original. I've tried DVDDecrypter in ISO and File Modes, and SmartRipper in File Mode, but I get stuck about 2/3 the way into VTS_01_6.VOB. I have also tried vStrip and got an error message that says "vStrip lost synch (not authenticated?)[@LBA 3058357]" during the stripping of the latter part of VTS_01_6.VOB
Can anyone help me out here? This is now becoming a holy war!

Here's the poop from the "Ripley's Believe It or Not" files...
Couldn't rip one copy as outlined above, but never checked it in a DVD player (Stupid me!!), but I figured it was damaged. Got a second copy and saw the same fault in the same place on the second disc using 5 different DVD-ROMS over 2 different computers.
This time I figured something was "rotten in Denmaark" so I stuck the DVD in a player and lo and behold, that same area of the disc that couldn't be ripped wouldn't play. It seems that our friends at Disney have a faulty pressing of these discs!! Both discs showed no visual flaws and were clean so there's something screwy going on.
