Scenarist hangs on "New from Script"

I think the subject says most of it...

I open Scenarist, fine.
I can chose new or an existing projct - but "new from script" and it hangs. 100% cpu usage, memory usage stays fixed. I've left it that way for awhile, it's not just being slow :)

I've used Scenarist before with no problems.
I've tried reinstalling.

WinXp with Athlon 2400 and plenty of memory, nForce mb chipset...
If I can provide any other information that would help troubleshoot please ask.

did you recently just install new nforce drivers? if so, did you by chance happen to install the sw ide(i think thats the name of it) driver? because i downloaded and installed new nforce drivers, and installed this ide driver as well(it asks during installation if you want to install it) and when i did, i started getting the same exact problem you did. my suggestion would be to uninstall the nforce drivers, reinstall them and when it asks if you want to install the ide driver, hit no. it worked for me anyway.

I didn't bother to un-install it, just re-installed and said "no" when it asked about the super monster ide nonsense. Rebooted and problem solved - thank you again!!
