Ok Here is my problem !
I am authoring title into 6 languages in Maestro. Basic structure is following:
1. first play: simple logo
2. language selection menu: - language 1
- language 2
.
.
- language 6
3. after choosing appropriate lang it will take u to a menu with 3 buttons, each assigned to a diff. video+ audio track (of the chosen language)
returns to menus are being done through a script so when you choose language 1 and than press root on your remote, it will take u back to menu (in language 1)
when I compile project it starts building and stops when it reaches menu (sometimes lang. sel menu, sometimes lang. 1 menu etc,) and error appears invalid frame rate. All assets are PAL 720 x 576 (video, menu graphics), AC3 audio, they all imported in binn asset without problem. Project settings are also PAL.
Does anyone please now the solution to this problem. I have been on to this for 3 days ???
thanx very much

for the menu i used Bitmaps 24 bit, I believe i set all menus to be still. I started a new thread because i wanted to explain in more details what i have done. This error realy bothers me. I was stoked about the easy interface of Maestro. I might be switching to scenarist if i dont get this work out

I had the same problem and here are my solutions.

1. If your PC is multiprocessors, try to run DVDMaestro instance with 1 CPU only.
2. If your PC is P4 HyperThreading running Windows XP, try to run DVDMaestro in Windows 2000 mode.

I don't know why but the problem happened to me and the above solved my problem completely.

When Maestro is running, go to Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del). Go to tab Processes, right-click DVDMaestro.exe, select :set affinity".

Hope this helps.

I just ran in the identical problem. Finished building a Petium 4C 3.2 GHz with Hyperthreading and Dual channel Memory mode. It is blazingly fast but when compiling with Maestro I get the same error. Fiddled around with it for about half an hour deleting movies adding movies and finally I got a compile going.

Thought it was the MPV files, the menu but than on a fresh project the same thing. It compiled well on my W2K machine but not on the XP. Well thanks a lot for your help. Doom9 surely has a wealth of information.
