Hi,
I'm about to get me a Hauppauge PVR-250 next week, and as with all the other Hauppauge software, the bundled capture program is supposedly crap.
So, does anyone have any recommendations? I'm only looking for a software that allows a good quality MPEG-2 capture with the board - keeping the audio and video in sync, of course. I've seen some people recommend PowerVCR, but the threads were quite old so there might be other good choices already.
I suppose that MPEG2VCR is the program to use for editing commercials etc. and the rest of the PP will be done via Avisynth, then feeding to TMPGEnc/CCE.
