Hi everyone!

I had troubles ripping the "1 Giant Leap" DVD. Since there are many PGC within one stream (vob1 to vob7), I used "file mode".

The ripped vob-files on my HD have green blocks for about a tenth of a second every once in a while.
Also, sometimes some seconds are shown repeatedly.
Both effects always appear in the same scenes, no matter how often I rip. The DVD, of course, works fine.

I used DVD decrypter and Smart Ripper on 2 DVD drives (in the same computer, though). For me, it looks like the programs have difficulties with the decription, but I don't get any error messages.

Can anyone help??

You're probably trying to just playback the vob files of a multiangle film where normally the PGCs would be used to NOT show the repeating scenes.
I would expect a little screen corruption in such cases as I've seen it myself years ago when playing around with the Matrix.

As far as I remember, I don't have the choice of angles when ripping. But anyway, is there a way to rip the DVD correctly?

Look at it in terms of PGCs, not angles. I expect you've got a couple approx the same size - and both really long.
