Experiences w/ 9.4gig Two Sided Discs?

Does anyone have experience with 9.4gig two sided discs? I just want to get some for backing up data since it would reduce the number of discs I needed by half. But are they reliable? How do you label them if there's data on both sides? Also, where should I buy them if I want the best bang for the buck? (ie, not $8 a disc, but also they won't degrade in 12 months)

From what I understand Ritek is the only manufacturer of double sided DVD-R media left. So the quality is all good (G03).

You can always lable the clear inner ring of the disc.
