Vdub 1.5.7 Kills My PC :-(

Hi guys!

I downloaded Vdub 1.5.7 a few weeks ago and it's an excellent program, as I can work with MPEG2 easily with it.

However as soon as I open the program up my PC goes into pure slug mode and everything takes ages to open up. Even just right licking on the desktop takes 5-10secs to show the menu!

My PC is more than capable of running this kind of software - TMPGEnc, Vmach etc etc however this 1.5.7 seems to kill my PC!

Athlon 2400XP
512ram
80gig hd - partitioned into 60 and 20
Geforce 4mx 5200

Anyone else sufer this same problem? Anyone got any suggestions? Is the newer Vdub worth downloading and does it have the same features (MPEG2)?

Nah it still kills the speed of my PC afterwards.

Oh well, PC's are always fucked up! :D :D
