Decrypter ISOs broken in Daemon tools

I've made ISOs of a few DVDs in Decrypter 3.1.7 but have found these ISOs to be broken when mounted in Daemon Tools. Both PowerDVD and WinDVD freezes on past a certain point in playback and DVD Decrypter in IFO mode only displays the first couple streams. When ripping those streams that it shows, the files turn out to be unreadable in DVD2AVI.

The DVDs I'm having trouble with are Chicago, 24 Season 2 Discs 5 and 6. Yet Discs 1-4 were OK. I've also ripped a bunch of other discs using the same method with no problem.

Any ideas?

Please use the .mds file instead of .iso while mounting with DaemonTools, and don't forget to check the MDS option from your
DVDDecrypter.

Still the same thing. By "the MDS option" I assume you're referring to either this or "Create MDS File" in the "ISO Mode" tab under "Settings." I've also tried creating a new MDS file by Tools->Create DVD MDS file.

What is your filesystem ? NTFS ? FAT32 ?
How big is your final .iso ?
How did you split it ? 1GB ?

Make sure you mount the .mds file, not the .iso file.

NTFS. No splitting. I've tried mounting both the MDS file and a recreated MDS file and the same symptoms remain.

The filesizes are also right as each image is around 8GB. In File mode, I can view the complete listing but extracting the files for the missing streams does not produce DVD2AVI-readable files.

This is quite bizarre.

Try split the .iso into 1GB size, and use the .mds to mount.
Make sure you change the DVDDecrypter option to split it.

[edit] if you still have a problem, try Alcohol 120% instead of
daemontools :)

Alcohol 120 had the same problem. I resolved the issue by simply reripping the DVDs, though from different discs. There's the possibility that this was due to screwy discs, but is otherwise a mystery.
