Slowest Encoder

I was just wondering what the slowest encoder was not codec!!

depends on the settings etc. what you're encoding. filters. the hardware.

why would you want to know the slowest anyway?

Depends what you define as "encoder". I think I can give you some pretty bad settings that will make VirtualDub very slow. But then, there'd only be a quality loss, and not even an increase.

This has nothing to do with XVID, but I found the Windows Media Encoder to be very slow, but this was not the latest version either.
