Hi,
I have an AVI and in VirtualDub it says the audio has a slower framerate than the video, this means that the audio is shorter than the video. Which leads to the sounds not being in sync when I convert it to DVD-R. The sound is perfectly in sync in the AVI.
What shall I do?
Thanks for any help.

How did you encode the avi file?
As this isn't really audio related, I'll move it to Vdub.

I didn't encode it, I downloaded it from a website. I think it is a legal file, it isn't a movie or anything, just a compilation of clips of extreme sports which i am using for my college assignment.
thanks

Did you try the frame rate conversion option in besweet. If that doesn't work the only other option I know is time stretching. Although there may be other ways I sit in blissful ignorance of them.

The framerate conversion in BeSweet takes too long to do unconventional framerates (e.g 24056fps > 25000fps). So the other option is time stretching, which software is the best to use?
thanks

I use Cool Edit Pro because thats what I own. I suggested this to someone in the forum and he stated FlexiMusic WaveEditor is perfect.
