CCE......sposed to b blurry and unfocused?

yea....all my MPEG2 encodes r blurry and unfocused.......any1 else have this prob?

Be more precise: source, filters (if you use them), version of CCE and settings.

I think you're using CCE 2.6x and you leave checked the default settings (lowpass filter, vertical filter, dithered ... ). Just uncheck them and retry.
Read also the stickys and search in the forum and guides for good settings to use with CCE.

I use RB's filters, but CCE 2.67 seems to be much more blury than CCE 2.50. (I'm talking about SVCD/CVD)

I had your problem, and it might be your DVD2AVI settings...
maybe it's a progressive (non ITVC) film, and you haven't chosen Forced Film???

Hope this helps, because mine were blurry until I realized that it was DVD2AVI and not CCE...
